Subject: RE: JD 8330 air conditioning

South Texas
The warm valve is actually a mechanical valve hooked with a cable to the control knob. The ac thermostat is not adjustable and runs on max all the time. When you turn the knob warmer, you’re actually turning on the heater to heat the air the ac just cooled. Who comes up with this?

Anyway, you get warm air because your heater core actually is hot if you have the knob turned any amount from all the way cold. So when the ac is off, it blows hot air instead of cab temperature air. So that explains the hot air.

Now you have to figure out why the ac is not working. Likely low charge or dirty condenser. Sometimes the dryer can plug up, I think it might have a sight gauge you look at and blue is good, red is bad. Also, I have had that stupid non adjustable thermostat go bad.
