Planted at 9 mph with spring pressure and a stock pro 40 disc, the stand isn't perfect but I thought it was pretty good. It was just some spots I had to replant. I guess in my opinion stay wider if possible because there's many times you can't go 8-9 but can always go 5-6 or even 7
