just a tish NE of central ND
Now, I don't know a darn thing..... so take it for what its worth,
How about a system to "clean up" the water you already have?
...>>>>>>If you have plenty water and aren't pumping out sand, why do you want a sand point? The sand point won't make the water in the vein you are drawing from softer or less rusty.Pushing the sand point through your vein and into another vein will commingle the rusty water with what ever quality of water that is underneath it if the top vein isn't sealed off. Your neighbors soft non rusty water is very likely from a different vein or different finger of the vein of water and the water bearing sand filters it differently. You might drill 30 foot away and have soft water or a dry hole, one never knows for certain. I know of several situation where wells wee drilled all over 80 acres and after half dozen of dry holes they hit the motherload of water and fairly shallow and in one case......maybe only 100 foot away from the dry hole.
Around here some farm wells that make 10-15 gpm are considered a good well...... Irrigation country pull hundreds and hundreds of gallons out per minute per hole.
