Just want to add, the valves may also be stuck enough to make the engine not turn, I'm not familiar with the flathead v 8s so I don't know how difficult it would be to open up access to the valve tappet area and manipulate the valves with a screwdriver or tool to see how"stuck" they are.
The Ford flathead v8's are notorious for frozen valvetrains. I've heard of them sticking after six months of sitting. |
