I would say yes. We ran a 5 shank, set on 36", on our 2WD CIH 7220. There were some spots you had to be careful what you were doing and it worked the heck out of that tractor but it always got the job done. Same ripper on our T8.410 and we can't even tell it's back there and that is ripping where the trucks ran in the fields.
