It will be interesting to see if that fixes it. I was never sure if the nut was backing off causing the problem or if the nut was staying put and the problem was the shaft and gearbox hub mating surfaces were wearing and allowing movement. We "fixed" our 60 series by checking torque on the nut with a big crescent wrench with a cheater pipe every couple days. That bearing retainer you put on the tapered shoulder of the shaft and hub might be the cure.
