I'm pretty sure the Farm Show article, the guy would only run his tractor 3/4 throttle on the 40gallon pump, to get the same oil capacity, but not have to run the tractor wide open. I'm pretty sure he was trying to save fuel. I may be wrong and misread it. I am of no help otherwise. We have an extremely tired NH 495 that watches our JD 936 run and run and run. The NH can ONLY dream of ever cutting hay like that and at the speeds the JD goes. lol
