Southern Indiana | Our 9 year old Aussie is absolutely terrified of storms, fireworks, and the neighbors target shooting. We've tried the thundershirt, benadryl, ace, ace and benadryl, covering the windows so she can't see the lightning, leaving the lights on, and the latest a white noise generator. She seems a little calmer if we get her in her crate but then the new pup in the next room senses her stress and starts up. I think she feels the static electricity in the air, so what about a chain/leash attached to a ground. Any ideas are appreciated. Got about 2 hours sleep last night, but it was worth it cause we needed the rain. Thanks! | |
