| Other than the engine, don't believe there is much difference, I was always told the 826 was direct competition for the 4020 at a better price point, as the 856 was a hair bigger than a 4020 in the hp department with the 407 under the hood and cost more. I always thought the 358 was a good power plant, didn't have the earth moving torque the 407 in the 856 did, but if your selling against a 4020, those didn't either so the playing field was the same. Local had a 826, turned the rpms up to what they ran in the combines, put some more fuel to it, and a turbo as a cherry on top. God, did that thing work. | |
