SC WI | This didn’t happen to me, so not 100% sure, but insurance company has policy if repairs are not properly made, they deduct 20%. I think it was also if funds were not used to repair damage. On my combine, when it was cosmetically damaged and I did not repair it for a year, they decreased coverage equally to the damage estimate until I showed proof of repairs. So like say your house is 100k, damage is 20k, if it burned before repairs it would only trigger an 80k claim. | |
