nw pa | friend of mine was telling me the other day..
He is a builder and was building a new house on Maple street. Had the house part done and was waiting for footer to be dug and footer poured.. Block layer was coming to lay block.. Same guy who digs the footer.. So the guy shows and digs the footer. Friend gets to house and the ten inch cement blocks meant for garage are gone.. he calls the town police who come to investigate.. Neighbors say some girl in a pick-up rolled up at six in the morning and loaded them up and left.. When checking for description from neighbors they said she was about 25 and good looking with blond hair and nice build.. Not a one of them remember what she was driving or plate numbers etc.. On further investigation it was found that someone put and ad on craigslist for "used" block free. from some construction work they were doing on Maple street. Seems the girl was going to use them for seating outside with the virus going around.. So she ended up taking all the new blocks and since they were free nobody has a name or nothing. Was only thirty blocks.. Whole thing seems like a comedy..
Wonder how many of those old guys were out watching.and what their wives think. | |
