| One problem is that folks on both sides are so far up their nether regions they can’t change for want of losing face.
This administration has been the most polarizing one I can remember, of that I don’t think there is any doubt. They haven’t done anything to widen their appeal, you can’t get re-elected that way. Especially when you received fewer votes than your opponent the first time.
As someone said earlier, we are seeing several republicans putting one foot on the dock, not wanting to stay aboard a listing ship, but afraid to jump totally.
The republican convention has been losing big names, not wanting to attend. The virus gives them cover.
To be clear, I have respect for any opinion which is arrived at through honest thought. Knee jerk me-toism however has little to be said for it, whatever the side it is on. | |
