The engine is new, has premium gas and runs fine. As soon as I turn on water and try to wash it almost stalls out and is working it's bag off, won't build up any pressure. Can I take apart, pressure relief spring stuck???
Sounds like the unloader valve is sticking, take apart and clean the valve. If not used every day, I have found that using a couple ft of garden hose with the male end to fill the pump and unloader valve with pure EG antifreeze concentrate. fill the hose and turn the engine / pump a half dozen times to pump the mix through the pump and unloader valve. Turn the engine while the wand trigger is opened until a little green fluid comes out the tip.. The antifreeze prevents both corrosion and freeze damage. |
