Sac & Story county IA
The idea is to make the cylinders that are to operate first be the easy path for oil. That is to make the clamshell come up before the ejection gate comes forward. And in return, the ejection gate goes home before clamshell comes down. The valves you want are called overcenter or counterbalance. The valve is a relief valve and check valve in one body. On dumping the scraper, the oil needs to be restricted going to cylinder that pushes gate forward to the point the clamshell comes up first. Free flow to clamshell cylinders. On return the oil going to the clamshell cylinders needs to be restriced and free flow to retract gate cylinder. The restriction comes from the setting of the relief valves in counterbalance valve.
