Had a 1000 J&M on a JD 8300 no issues, now on a 8260R. J&M carts are very well balanced carts. On our 1000 I can load the back almost full and then it will tip the hitch up. Tried it once to see what it would do, haven't done it since. Look at there brochures and they give the hitch weight full.
