Subject: RE: Cih 8575 knots hanging up on bill hook issue

Southern Nevada desert
The twine slips through the twine disc as the knot is formed.
Too tight and not enough slip makes the tails to short and the tails will pull through the knot.
Too loose and the tail is too long and loops back into the knot around the billhook.
Check the cut tails for length and the tail length on the completed knots, if its more than a finger width long then tighten the twine holder on the disc, if you get it too tight the tails will get too short and the knots will pull apart.
on edit
Also check the twine tension through the tension rollers, do this before messing with the twine disc holder tension because it will change that adjustment.
