Maybe, but I'd think the belt would flip off or break before it got hot enough to cook off. Sure looks like the fire started there, though. Seems like combines find new and interesting ways to catch fire each year in wheat!

Wonder how far he traveled after backing into the pole? Got to think he'd of felt it. I've backed into stuff with mine a time or two, but it's usually the right rear corner.
