east central ND | Here in eastern Nd most 21’ Mac don/premiere go for 1500 to $2500. Nice 25’ $ 2500 or a bit more. But it’s right before harvest, soooo.....
Keep an eye on Fargo Nd Craigslist. Bisman is the big “for sale” site a bit further west in Bismarck Nd. Steffes auction out of Fargo sells a lot of them.
A lot of farms have unused ones in the shed as most straight cut small grains now, and a lot haven’t even grown small grains to swath for years.
A couple years ago you could hardly get scrap price for a nice pull type swather. If only doing a few acres, old versatile 20’ go for $500, but transport sucks.
Edit: I think all the different colors of pull type were made by Macdon for many years.
