Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80
Is this legal? (in the State of Iowa)
New Head trailer has LED tail lights, turn signals, brake lights, safety chain, but currently uses a hitch pin. (could easily switch to 2 5/16" ball hitch setup; if necessary)
I quickly scanned thru Iowa DOT 78 page hand booklet (pdf), but didn't see anything specific.
Note: if loaded, I would only go 2 lane State Highways.
