Ogallala,NE | First thing I'd do is make sure you're going in reverse long enough that all towers move a couple times.
If they do, I'm guessing you're forward and reverse contractors are engaging at the same time, either in the panel or in the booster pump.
One thing I do a lot of times when I'm unsure if the problem is on the pivot or in the panel. Unhook your three heavy 480v wires where they leave the terminal strip going out to the collector ring. Then put a new fuse in and try it. This should tell you whether your problem is in the panel or on the pivot. | |
