SC Nebraska | I had one pull similar stunt this spring. Became convinced fwd and rev contactors were both pulling in on fwd. I blamed the mechanical interlock, can’t explain it, but removed the interlock parts and its run fine ever since.
I think you have a phase to phase short circuit in fwd, so check reversing contactors in panel and booster pump. Otherwise a random gearbox is locking in one direction and blowing fuse instead of tripping thermal overload on a center drive and then getting out of line/safeting out. | |
