Do not judge him or criticize blindly thinking you know all about him.

I’ve been guilty as I’d imagine many on here have as well of making statements about people they truthfully know little about.

An acquaintance, and I call him that loosely, was very quick to make desparaging comments about a close friend of mine who is highly thought of by many. Those who work alongside my friend know just how hard he worked to get where he is. Nothing was handed to him just because.

It’s amazing how a well educated person who owns a private practice could criticize so heavily to the extent someone he’s never met or had any interaction with other than a phone conversation. More than anything I’m just disappointed. When you know how kind and helpful a friend is to many people and then someone resentful comes along to tear that person down. It just doesn’t sit well.

Please be kind to others. That’s all I’m saying.

So can we start applying this to ourselves in the agtalk community? Seems like a lot of disrespectful responses to others opinions lately since the corona thing started this spring.
