Subject: RE: AFS display verses insight

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
The Insight uses CAN modules. The old AFS system did not and had all its computing power in the the display.

The Insight would need the CAN modules and could probably use some of them from the old combine with some wiring modifications depending how much difference there is between the combines.

I had an Insight in a 9650 STS and traded for a 9770. I removed the modules and add on wiring harness. I did need to make some minor changes in the clean grain and ground speed connectors otherwise everything fit fine. Since these were both Deere combines of the same basic design it was reasonably easy.

If your two combines are a lot different from each other this might get a bit messy.
