S Illinois | That’s soybeans not corn. Corn is the exact opposite.
Edit: The negative residual is not a good thing in this situation. We had a rise in ending stocks plus a negative number in the fudge factor category. So basically we have more beans on hand than what USDA could account for in the first 3/4 of the year. So we have more on hand and have larger old crop ending stocks despite having a smaller crop. Not a good combination for demand going forward.
