swmn | Does the monitor show that the gate is closed? On our 567, it won't auto tie if the gate open alarm is going off. I believe it is possible for the gate closed symbol to disappear without the gate closed alarm going off, and I don't recall if it would auto tie in that situation or not. If the alarm was going off I'm sure your dad would have mentioned that. On our baler, the old style steel gate latches were bent allowing the gate to come open a little. We replaced them with the newer cast latches and haven't had a problem since. | |
