Just for peace of mind.
Many people are renting cars from companies like Enterprise for vacations and trips like that.
No matter what happens, they will keep you in a vehicle at their expense.
That's not really true. We had friends who rented a car in Phoenix from Enterprise. They stayed with us in Salome for a few days and when they went to leave the car would not start. They spent about 3 hours on the phone with Enterprise and the customer service person told them that they don't have people just waiting around to deliver cars when there is a problem. Enterprise sent a tow truck from Parker(closest tow company that Enterprise had a contract with, 70 miles the wrong direction). The car was to be taken to Parker to be fixed. There is no Enterprise Rental in Parker. They were told they would have to wait while it was fixed or find their own way to Lake Havasu, where there is an Enterprise. Our friends had limited time for their vacation and this wasted an entire day. They were just relieved it didn't happen the morning they were scheduled to fly home because they would have missed their flight. Luckily it was all their fault. When they got to Parker to give the shop the fob, they realized they were trying to start the rental car with the wife's fob. The wife's car was parked at the airport in Minnesota. They started the rental and drove away.

Good point
If you have Alzheimer's, don't rent a car with unlimited mileage!
