I never go long. Always do putts, when market goes up I roll my putts up, doesn't cost but 1/5 of price to roll up. Then when market goes down I roll down taking 75% of my money off the table. Last several years it has made me money.
ADT marketing way of doing things.
Going up you take care of your self , but when the marcket goes down you still have bills to pay.
