sw ontario | Looks like hogs could be profitable in Mar. '21 , so does anybody know of any actual barns /farms stopping or slowing farrowings? Lot's of talk of 'price pain' but I know of only one barn closing down and that was started last fall as owner needs 2 hip replacements.....Anymore we don't have the in & out farrowing guys and takes a pile of smaller farms to decide to quit for every new,big build.....fwiw a major hog barn builder says 'new' barn orders have dried up | |
