ND | Was there something that allowed haying on the government land?
Just found some old odd paperwork that mentions it...in the form of neighbors saying someone came in the night and hayed a large portion over time, but no one knows who it was.
I know our ranch that we bought/inherited (no connection by family or much of anything) definitely has some interesting history but most if not all that know about it are gone...and the kids who cleaned it out threw just about everything and the previous owner kept all the paperwork for the place. So we're just left with bits here and there like this and are left wondering.
