In my middle 30s I had to confirm a do not resuscitate order that my mom had. I felt bad and sad over it because doctor said he could easily save her. My mom was 60 losing her mind with Alzheimer's/dementia. The poor level of care from the Standford health system in South Dakota was the reason she went to a coma by dehydration. I couldn't sue them because I didn't save her.

You shouldn’t feel bad about that. I know that’s easier said than done. You did exactly what she wanted you to do. That’s a tough deal.
