South Central MN | My dad passed a way a few years ago when I was 31, not pleasant seeing someone you know and care about pass on but they are in a better place now...
My dad's mind was still good and functioning, but his body was failing him. Still remember the doctors visit before he went to my brother's and SIL's place for "Hospice care" not long before he passed, doctor told him his heart and lungs were failing him, and if he could do something he would, but it was past that point already. Guess he made peace with that news as it was only about a week after moving that he passed away. At least he got to see his last crop grown harvested and in the bin, can't imagine what was going through his mind when he was driven past the fields he had run all his life knowing he would never see them again. | |
