Ask the peach farmer from Missouri...Ask the vineyards around the country side. Yes soybeans and corn dominate most areas but there is more to this than just beans.
Peach farmer that filed multiple insurance suit for freeze and other things?? Hmm don’t know about anywhere else but I’m sure everyone of us knows an “insurance farmer”. But if you want to ban it ban it all. All the Dicamba products for corn and pasture and shy ground they have to get no training not restrictions on when they spray and it’s the same chemical.. just like every Tom dick and Harry can go to tractor supply and buy Dicamba or 24d to kill their weeds in their lawn. No restrictions on that?? Here we grow tobacco much as anywhere in the country.. some fields are up next to a yard what happens when a home owner sprays that on their lawn they don’t get blamed or sued it always the farmer with the closest field. And as far as enlist goes. I know cotton country is always from some of y’all but 24d is just as bad on cotton as Dicamba is on beans except it cuts yield to nothing so how about we ban that to and then resistant weeds will run rampant. Clearly there’s not Palmers in some areas cause if they were everyone would fight for these traits to be kept on market. Cause if you give one group power to take one chemical the have free reign to go after them all. Sorry for the rant |
