Subject: RE: 15w40 for transdraulic mistake

We have the luxury of having the correct oil for almost any application.  I have heard that a good chunk of the 3rd world dumps in whatever oil is available.  The wrong oil is better than no oil.  A few years back we did the first break in oil change on a overhauled 9130 (8.3 Cummins) and hydraulic oil accidentally got used.  We put about 50 hours on it before I discovered it, and it is still running fine.
