As we know there's three sides to every story and in this case maybe more than three sides. I have no doubt that it could take from Dec to March to get a referral under normal circumstances. I also have no doubt that in a no corona world it would have been handled faster. And I also agree that if the initial Doctor had been on top of it, assuming the worst instead of the best case scenario, that referral could've been done in a week or two even in a corona world. I also agree with those that say pushy parents get more done....corona or not, they probably could have gotten it looked at......but they shouldn't have to. I guess the lesson here is only the agressive survive. At the end of the day you have only one job in this world and that is to raise your kids so you best raise them like their lives depend on it.
