Subject: Steering cylinder pin on New Holland TG 305

SW Indiana.

Has Anyone ever installed a new steering cylinder and pin on a New Holland TG series Super steer ?
My concern or question is the proper procedure get pin in place .. very tight fit .. should I freeze the pin?  How force is needed to set in place and how do you apply force?  As you can see the pin will fall through top part of clevis or cylinder mount and the bottom part obviously needs the pin to be pressed in place .  There is no keeper for pin the stay in place.
