You’d have To go back nearly 2 months to find dec futures at today’s levels

Is this the place to reduce 4th quarter risk?

Or, do prices continue their upswing?

IMO most individuals are not yet aware of the level of financial risk that is happening and building.
Most businesses are hoping for a 'return to normal' (whatever in the heck that is!).

My guess is that the commodities markets are going to yo-yo something like the proverbial 'whore's drawers' until the risk levels drop.
I'm not seeing risk levels dropping for quite a while.
Actually scared to think of the time frame that I'm seeing for uncertainty!

Part of the issue is that yes you could trade a contract (or as many as you want).
When you want to exercise that contract - - - - there is no way to get the packers to 'take' the contract.
In the past this just didn't happen.
It has been happening.
It is happening.
You may have everything set but if you can't market the fats - - - - the packer doesn't take them - - - - I for one dunno what happens then.
Guys have been feeding past 'best date'.

Financially - - - - this is a seriously big mess!
