local e-plant averages loads for the day or will average a whole contract hauled over several days if asked- over 15.5% moisture gets discounted. Had one days avg at 15.6% this past winter, they let is slide, no discoount. Hauled in 40,000 on a delayed price contract and they averaged the whole haul, ran from 13.6 to 17%.

If I brought in some loads that were 17%, I would really get discounted on those loads even if the average was about 14%. It is easy to see that they are looking for any and all ways to reduce the price. But Hey, its a COOP so I'm a part owner?
