Eastern Arkansas | I second the 11 model. I have 2. No def, no variable fan drive, no DPF, EGR only. I had the EGR turned off and mine tuned to CP690 power and they will pick right with a new CP. as someone mentioned, the 7760 are less complex electronically and we have had very good luck doing our own diagnostic work. They are surprisingly pretty simple machines. I just keep going through mine every year and picking.
One recommendation on any of them is to let Deere dealer replace the water pump every year and you get a year warranty on them. The pumps are bad about going out and taking out the engine.
Also buy your belts through America’s Belting. They are 1/3 the price of Deere and better quality. | |
