| If you have any amount of mechanical ability and an owners manual, its not that bad working on knotters. Many years ago I broke a knotter on a New Holland 269. Got a used knotter to put on. Closest NH dealer was 30 miles away so wasn't going to drag it over there for them to fix. Talked to local CIH dealer about fixing it. They said sure but going to need the owners manual so we can time it.
I thought if thats how they're going to do it, then so can I. Did the work myself and never missed a knot. | |
