| Yes southern Kansas had a better than average crop.. as you move north and especially west it drops off pretty fast.. reports of 15 to 20.. to as much as 45ish bu dryland wheat around Garden City.. with very poor fall crop prospects there..
Plenty of room to store.. guys getting bulled up looking out the window.. and we are due for a dry period.
So..
Maybe a slight revision up.. but they've over estimated last years corn crop.. Kansas alone could see a 100 myn bu reduction in the 2019 corn crop.
Specifically.. this weeks ethanol number came within 13% of last year.. yes we are 480 myn behind last years pace.. yet we were only like 20 myn above last years stocks June 1.. so..
why?
2019 corn crop overestimated? Probably..
2020 increased feed usage? Maybe..
Seems were missing about 200+ myn bushels from the stocks report..
