western iowa,by Denison
probably have to start walking it-at around 6-7 o clock at nite-see how many bugs-get a good look at all the leaves-and look for any discolor in all leaves-the leaves above the plant are the ones feeding the plant-but I like to look at the bottom leaves also-if you see over 10% ? leaves and if you notice a lot of bugs realize you can throw in insecticide with the fungicide- corn can take some wilt and yield ok-really like to keep that plant green all the way to full dent-it will buy you 10 days of plant health after silking-10 days is important in a corn's life
