Farmington, Mo | I would recommend taking it in person. I did this in 2006 or 07, and have used my training every year since. In person courses would be better able to coach you through the technique and you can socialize and practice with your classmates.
Missouri auction school is who I would recommend...if they are still in operation. 5-7 day course if it hasn’t changed format in the last decade.

Looks like they did an online only course a month ago. Website says they will resume in person and online courses in 2021.
