Flush, flush, and more flush........

actually “they” have a cleaner that’s supposed to deactivate valor residue left in the sprayer.

the procedure most typically is to; pull the filters, clean and reinstall , flush sprayer with clean water, if you have wet booms take the end caps off and flush, reinstall end caps, flush everything at pressure, if your sprayer has floback valves turn the section valves on and off several times to purge the floback line, make sure if the sprayer has a inductor, that system is purged as well.

activate the internal sprayer rinse system, or take a garden hose and wash off any internal residue, whilst dumping the sprayer rinsate.

Valent offers a tank cleaner specifically for valor, as do several other private label companies, follow the label recs. It amounts to filling the sprayer like a third full, and then filling all lines with the cleaner, and letting it sit to soak for a certain time period( I let it sit overnight) then purge again.

and then for next few days of sprayer operation just to be safe, I’d load the booms up with clean water overnight, and purge the booms first thing the next morning.
