| We and several guys around us do it. It is only expensive if you have timely rains so all is perfect. We in southwest nd and went till end of june before we got a rain that incorporated anything flung on top. Studies show minor incorporation is worse then none at all. Have had very good results doing it. We usually go at a slight angle but do some straight due to tree rows. We have paid coop to fling on top for around $7 an acre. With averaging around 3/4 of a gallon of fuel an acre leaves alot of room for repairs plus the added benefit of it being in the dirt. Also helps warm soil since that is a concern we have in our area. | |
