| Dodge house in Council Bluffs if it is open. The Zoo in Omaha is open. neither on your way but not far from Avoca.
The Loess hills is all along western Iowa. If you come down I 29 you can head east about any where south of Sioux City and run into them in a few miles.
A nice drive is head east out of Onawa and either go on through Dunlap heading east until you hit Highway 59. Take that south and the Tractors are just south of interstate 80.
They do have a "womens" section in Avoca.
Most of the local tourist traps are closed. The Bertrand Museum between Missouri Valley and Blair MIGHT be open.
