Boone Co. Iowa | Agree. Buyers of corn need to make money, to make money they need demand to increase. Weird to be in an election year and economy dragging (due to COVID).
I don't know why demand would increase. Three corn legs are feed, ethanol, and exports. Feed use gonna jump dramatically? Ethanol use gonna skyrocket and plants run day and night? Exports going to soar? (I think dollar is still strong, as it is currency of last reserve at this point)
Real drought doesn't look too likely this year. Govt. says we planted 3 million more acres of corn this year compared to last year. July weather rally hard to get going when we have huge carryout and little demand.
