indiana | I don't know about you but on our farm we work hard every year to increase yields and lower expenses. I will just assume every other farmer would do the same. In that "theme" it should be easy to see why we have an up trending national yield year after year. Mother nature has the last word during the growing season so until she does give us a production shortfall the USDA assumes yields will be good.
No offense intended but I will make another assumption that you don't have any 2020 sold and you might have a fair amount of 2019 in the bin. I am fine on 2019 but have no 2020 sold. No need to complain about it other than when I look in the mirror and tell that guy to wake up!
One other thing , we can argue about potential yields but more alarming might be some missing acres that need to show back up sometime. | |
