If they're just closing canopy it is not too awful. When they're up to your armpits, not fun at all.

I budget 3 man hours per acre on a really good cultivation job in a high weed pressure field. A lot of weeds can easily put you over 10 hours. Put in your local labor cost.


Paul is right, walking in waist high 15 inch beans is miserable. You can feel the heat trapped in the crops canopy. Lol
