I concur, unless you need/want the ridge no real reason to use them. Turn the cutaway disks 180 and let them do it instead.
I guess the consensus is the wings don't gain me anything with wide sweeps, which is what I thought. The sweeps will move dirt into the middle by themselves. I see the wings helping more with a narrow sweep.
