Wisconsin | Yesterday we had a severe storm pop up out of nowhere. Our farm dog/family dog which was a 110lb yellow lab, Cooper who was about as good as a dog could get. He would always walk out the door with you at 4:30 am and head in for lunch and dinner and back out. He would always hop in the back seat of the truck or jump up and ride or run with you in the fields. We always left a vehicle door open for him while sitting in the yard as he loved to watch you from there and he thought it was the shade. Yesterday a storm came through, and since he is getting older he gets scared easily from storms so he ran up into the back door of my truck and crawled under the steering wheel and hid. The storm came and blew the doors shut and with 95 degree weather and a hot sun, it didn’t take long. A sad day around the farm, but Cooper sure was one hell of a dog.
